Shane and I hope you are all having a great start to the new year! As most of yall know Shane and I had one heck of an adventure last year climbing to the peak of Guadalupe Peak. It was one of the hardest things Shane and I have ever done. It was exhausting, not to mention the vomiting, crying and 2 days of bed rest afterwards. But in the end, Shane and I were so proud of ourselves and each other. So, we have decided to plan and train for another adventure this year. We are really excited and have set up a blog site to journal our steps through the process. We invite all of our friends and family to join in, leave comments, recipes, encouragement, advice . . . whatever.
Our goal for the beginning of this year is to master tennis. This is going to be quite an adventure considering I have never played before and Shane hasn’t played since college, and not to mention we are in REAL bad shape. So the training has begun and so has the healthy eating. Drop in and see how we are doing every once in a while, and help hold us accountable. Any doubles partners out there?

Hello from Tony and Becky!
Well, most of you who know me well have heard me talk about how I need to get in shape. By now I sound like a broken record, and no one hears it more than Becky! Well, she has challenged me to get off my rear and do something about it! Becky has done very well in her fitness endeavours. She has become my personal trainer of sorts. Mostly by example, she has inspired me. So, when we found out about “My Life is Adventure” we were pumped! Making getting in shape fun. What a concept!
Shane and Summer have decided to master tennis. I think that is an admirable goal. I think I will start off a little slower, like taking more trips to the bathroom while playing XBOX. OK. Maybe that is a little too slow. Actually, I have joined the local fitness club with Becky. My goal is to loose 10 pounds by March 17.
As Summer mentioned above, we are climbing Guadalupe peak. Just thinking of the task makes me ill, but we are commited to making it up and back down with energy to spare! We encourage all of you out there to begin an adventure of your own. We want to hear how you’re doing, and to share your experiences. I know we need all the encouragement we can get!
